Payments to the court may be the Violations Bureau either by mail or in person via Cash, Check or Money Order. Please make all payments payable to the Perth Amboy Municipal Court.

Payments are accepted at the Violations Window, Perth Amboy Municipal Court:
365 New Brunswick Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Fines may be paid using cash, check, Money order, or credit card (Visa or Master Card). Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and during evening court sessions, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 P.M. – duration of Court.

If payment is made by mail, do not send cash, but send a check or money order payable to Perth Amboy Municipal Court. Payment is due on or before the date listed on the bottom of the summons. If payment is received after that date, you may be assessed a late fee.

A receipt will be sent only if a payment is accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

NJMCDirect – You may pay many traffic fines online at this website. Payments are accepted with a credit card only (Visa or Master Card).

If your driving privileges are currently suspended in the State of New Jersey, you must take your receipt to Motor Vehicle Services to have your driving privileges reinstated.  If you received a ticket and wish to plead not guilty, you must contact the court office seven days prior to the court date listed on the ticket.
