The Office on Aging services the needs of city residents 60 years of age and older. Our goal is to help improve the quality of life for senior citizens by providing them with social and recreational programs. As well, our office provides information and assistance for senior citizens and caregivers as needed.

Transportation services are provided to city residents to local medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other social outings. Simply contact our office at least one week prior to your appointment to make arrangements for the transportation.

A monthly calendar is available listing all scheduled programs and activities for the month, with the dates and times of some of our most popular programs which include: Exercise, Line Dancing, Latin/Variety Dancing, Bingo, Computer classes, Billiards, etc. Residents are welcome to call our office for a schedule.

In addition, the Middlesex County Nutrition Program serves lunch daily (Monday – Friday) at the Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center. Seniors who are homebound and who meet the eligibility guidelines set forth by the County may be eligible to enroll in the home deliver program.
