The office administers the HUD-CDBG and HOME program. The office works with non-profits and city departments to plan and provide a variety of services and improvements. It performs various planning functions including the submission of grant application requests for state and federal assistance.  The office plans and oversees most of the city’s development projects that have included new park development, park improvements, historic restoration, waterfront development, and numerous public improvements.
