Memorial Service for Officer Thomas E. Raji

Perth Amboy Gathers for the One Year Anniversary Memorial Service for Officer Thomas E. Raji

PERTH AMBOY, NJ – The City of Perth Amboy will be holding a memorial service in honor of Officer Thomas E. Raji, the first officer killed in the line of duty in the history of Perth Amboy. Officer Raji lost his life in a motor vehicle collision on August 22, 2008.

There will be an unveiling of the color rendering of the Perth Amboy Fallen Police Officer Memorial. The monument, dedicated to Officer Raji will be placed in front of the police headquarters in the upcoming months.  Flags will be at half mast for a week starting August 22.
