Employment Opportunity: Manager Public Property

MANAGER PUBLIC PROPERTY - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under direction of the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds, within the Department of Public Works, the Manager for Public Property is responsible for planning, budgeting, supervision, and administration of the construction, alteration, maintenance and repair programs for the Public Safety Complex and other municipally owned buildings and structures as required; does other related duties.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in work involving the construction and maintenance of buildings.
  • 5 year experience in swimming pool maintenance and operation
  • 5 year as a Black Seal Boiler Operator
  • 5 year experience with Automated Logic Building Management systems
  • 5 year experience with Simplex Grinnell Fire Prevention Systems
  • 5 year experience working with HVAC Systems including but not limited to; Water Source Heat Pumps, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air handlers, High Efficiency Patterson Kelly Boilers and other HVAC Equipment as required.
  • 5 year experience working with Pool-Pak Systems
  • 5 year experience working with Ameg Security Systems
  • 5 year experience and knowledge of diesel powered generators 650,000 KW and larger.
LICENSE:
  • Black Seal Boiler Operator license required
  • NJ Driver’s License
CITY RESIDENCY REQUIRED
